After the lunch a session is organised with a different subject every year. We have eg. organised twice an interactive session with a medical psychologist, who is eg. active as medical advisor as well on behalf of our organisation, which triggered many interesting reactions which were food for thought on the way home.

Especially because of the international character of our organisation members of other countries outside the Netherlands can be present. Therefor we prepare, present and publish the presentations in different languages. We consider this an enrichment.

Every year we also organise  CMTC meeting in the USA (Washington DC).

Member meeting

Each year CMTC-OVM organises a member meeting. This meeting can only be attended by members, doctors and the volunteers who support our organisation. For kids of all ages several activities are organised, both inside and outside the hotel (depending on the weather).

The meeting has several goals. Besides a 'formal' part, which usually takes about an hour, it is accustomed to have an 'open questionnaire' part. After this session a doctor usually gives a presentation. During the 'formal' part items are presented and discussed such as the annual reports and the activity plan for the next year.

The 'open questionnaire' part is meant to raise questions to our medical advisor. This is a very important session because especially here recognition takes place ('my child has this too!').

During lunch there is a lot of opportunity to make new contacts and to renew old contacts. Do not underestimate the use of this!
