then we went to take a group photo. Then we went back into the amusement park. Luckily, it was still dry, so we were able to go on almost all of the rollercoasters. In many cases we were lucky enough to ride twice in a row even though there was a super long line of customers.
Unfortunately, around 5:00 PM an enormous thunderstorm erupted, which closed many of the rides temporarily, but happily they reopened after a delay and we were able to go wherever we wished. It was a really great day that we won’t soon forget – a special day and especially nice to be together with everyone.

We had access almost everywhere due to the handy pass that we received from Lex and we used it 23 times at the various attractions. At 1:00 PM we had to go back to the hotel for a truly wonderful lunch - there was something there for everyone : donuts, pastries, cheese, breads, fruit - you could even make your own soup! Patient Day 2011
Saturday, June 18 was the date of the third patients’ day in the Netherlands.
“The Efteling” was chosen due to the success we had there two years ago and to accommodate the different age groups of our members. The weather was not so nice as two years ago; however – despite two rain showers – the event passed off rather well.
