Experiences from and with parents – Dr. Margaret Lee – webinar (26 March 16:00 – 17:00 hrs (Amsterdam time))
Dr. Margaret Lee will lead a workshop on parental experiences of vascular malformations. Older children are also welcome. Issues such as independence and self-confidence are also discussed.
This interactive workshop is lead by Dr. Margaret Lee, who is both a doctor as well as patient, and is intended for both patients with vascular malformations as well as their parents and siblings. Items that could be discussed are dealing with my condition at school, how do I see myself, my self-confidence, I don’t accept my situation (denial of my condition), how do I as parent deal with my child during puberty, my brother has a vascular condition and how can I help him.
