In March 2019, she was appointed as the Geneva F. and Sture Johnson Distinguished Chair within the Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research endeavors have been centered on breakthroughs in areas encompassing birth defects, vascular anomalies, and vascular tumors. Employing cutting-edge next-generation sequencing techniques, Dr. Drolet\u2019s team endeavors to uncover the genetic underpinnings of vascular anomalies while simultaneously spearheading the development of innovative medications targeting specific gene mutations. Dr. Drolet has been instrumental in establishing and guiding several multi-site research networks focusing on infantile hemangiomas and vascular anomalies. Her lab houses one of the largest vascular anomalies biorepositories in the country.<\/p>\n
