My name is Arianna Faro; I am 32 years of age and was diagnosed with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome at birth. KTS manifests itself a bit differently in each patient, but for me it impacts my left leg, foot, private areas and heart.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the condition, I have endured over 50 surgeries and more than 100 hospitalizations. On a day to day basis, I am forced to grapple with severe pain and bleeding. I also struggle with depression and severe anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>I have always believed that a person should not be judged based upon the obstacles they are presented with, but rather the way in which they try to overcome them.<\/p>\n<p>Despite my disease and the challenges it presents me with, I am determined to live life to the absolute fullest; I feel as though we inhabit this Earth for such a miniscule period of time, and I do not want to take a single breath for granted.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-49668 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/arianne-ziekenhuisbed-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/arianne-ziekenhuisbed-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/arianne-ziekenhuisbed-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/arianne-ziekenhuisbed-250x250.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/arianne-ziekenhuisbed.jpg 734w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I am more than my disability&#8230;while it is undeniably a part of me, it is not the entirety of why I am. I hope to spread that message to others who are struggling with illness of any kind as well. No matter what obstacles you are facing, you are undeniably worthy of living a happy, fulfilled life.
