Because what is it really about? The patient!<\/p>\n<p>And what is a doctor doing? The patient too!<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore crucial that doctors and Patient Organizations work together to improve the quality of life of the patient, where we as a Patient Organization also directly involve the family.<\/p>\n<p>At conferences such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/en\/blog\/2023\/12\/30\/pedra-2023-atlanta-usa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PEDRA<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmtc.nl\/en\/activities\/external-conferences\/issva\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ISSVA<\/a>, the position of Patient Organizations is very clear! Here we are directly involved in the conference, our stands have a very good and visible location and we are taken seriously. We also work together with these organizations outside of the conferences.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this is not yet the case everywhere.
