The CBF\u2019s task is to promote trustworthy fundraising and expenditure by reviewing fundraising organizations and giving information and advice to government institutions and the public. When a charity has a CBF Certificate (CBF-Keur), issued by the Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF), you can trust that the organization has been closely reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>An important criterium is that the costs for fundraising of the charity expressed as a percentage of the revenues from its own fundraising in any one year, may not amount more than 25% of the revenues from its own fundraising.
