\nOn 7 September 2019, Suzanne Pasmans will run the Jungfrau Marathon. This is an extremely difficult mountain marathon over 42 kilometers long, with climbs of 1,829 meters and 305 meters descends. As Professor of Child dermatology, Suzanne is involved for the benefit of child skin patients in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
In addition to medical care, there is a need to enrich the lives of children with skin diseases. The Under Your Skin Foundation helps achieve this.<\/p>\n
With your contribution, a “pages book” will be developed: a book in which the child and the parents can keep track of the condition of the child’s skin. They can do this by making drawings, with accompanying texts, showing what is noticeable when applying ointments, when eating or while sleeping. They can keep track of information during the treatment and note what they want to ask the doctor. Of course, the answers and advice of the dermatologist, the dietitian and the general physician can also be noted.\u00a0 There is of course room for pasting pictures. This is a book with everything needed to make a personal diary about and for the child with a skin disease.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
