We also have an ‘online Community’ for both members and non-members.
Members have access to all groups and all functionality.
Non-members only have access to the public groups and can post requests, make contacts, chat, and much more within them.
Community Functionality
Users can view and edit their own profile, such as personal details, profile picture, and description.
They can manage their account settings, for example, change their password or set email preferences.
They can view other members and search profiles.
They can also interact with other users, for example, via messages, comments, or social features.
Users can join groups or community sections and participate actively there.
Additionally, they can receive notifications about activities, such as new messages or interactions.
Users only see content for which they have rights, so non-members can only view and communicate with other non-members. Members can communicate with anyone and in any group.
Furthermore, users can register, log in, and reset their password. In short: users can manage their profile, communicate with others, and access protected content within a community-like environment.
Registration
Members have automatic access to our ‘online Community’. Non-members must also register and become a ‘Community member’. Firstly, we want the privacy of both members and non-members to be protected as much as possible. Secondly, we want to prevent all kinds of ‘bots’ and spammers from polluting our ‘online Community’. Therefore, you must also prove via verification email that you are not a bot to keep it as clean as possible.
Privacy
Our ‘online Community’ operates on servers in the Netherlands and complies with the strict requirements of European privacy legislation. Companies such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram) do not have access to this environment.
