Contribution to the training of doctors

We have developed training material (elearning) for the European Reference Network (ERN) Skin in collaboration with Naevus Global.

The purpose of ERN-Skin’s e-learning material is to train medical specialists and paramedics to improve knowledge about rare skin diseases, diagnosis and care for patients.

The e-learning material includes all rare diseases involving the ERN-Skin.

The learning materials have been developed with the following goals:

1. Increase knowledge about the diagnosis and care of rare skin diseases.
2. Develop and improve skills to better manage rare skin diseases.
3. Encourage healthcare providers to take a multidisciplinary approach and make specific proposals for services to patients with rare skin diseases.
4. Promote the development of national networks of specialists, paramedics, patient groups, GPs, scientists, and public health officials.
5. Promote participation of young/new medical and paramedical teams.
6. Involve and emphasize the key role of patient groups.
