Dr. Paolo Gasparella (Austria)

Dr. Paolo Gasparella is a Consultant Pediatric and Adolescent Surgeon at the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery of the Medical University of Graz (Austria).

He qualified as a specialist pediatric surgeon in 2011 at the University of Padova (Italy).

In the University of Padova he also obtained his PhD in Developmental Medicine and Health Planning Science. Since 2011 he has started to deal with pediatric patients suffering from vascular anomalies.

In 2015 he moved to Graz where he spends more and more of his time in this specific field.

Since 2019 he is a representative of the Medical University of Graz (Austria) in the VASCA-Group of the European Reference Network for Vascular Anomalies (VASCERN).

He focuses his research interest in the field of venous and lymphatic malformations in children.
