Family Day 2024: Efteling
Family Day 2024: Efteling
Report of our Family Day in the Efteling 2024
On Saturday, July 6th, participants gathered around 9:30 AM at the bus parking lot near the Efteling. In total, nearly 80 people from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands were present. The weather was cloudy, and there was a bit of rain at the beginning, but the sun soon came out.
All attendees received a bag with drinks and donuts for each family.
We deliberately choose a date in July because the Efteling is open until 10 PM during that time, allowing you to enjoy all the attractions for 12 hours!
During this day, we had planned three contact moments. The first contact moment was the reception. The second was during lunch, and the third was around 4 PM when everyone received ice cream. We noticed that people sought each other out, such as several young adults, and even a new member, made contact and exchanged experiences.
For this day, we created a special WhatsApp group so that we could easily stay in touch and share photos and videos. Below on this page is a small selection of these photos and videos. We will also use the other visual material for our social media channels (with prior permission, of course).

You have delivered an outstanding performance on all fronts:
The organization was simply fantastic. I can imagine that taking care of everything was no easy task. The preparation of the donuts in advance—each with its own packaging and label (HOURS of work), organizing the tickets, the meeting point, the lunch, and later the ice cream. Amazing!
It was priceless to see the kids having fun. Our youngest daughter had never been on a roller coaster before, and she rode the “Max & Moritz” four times in a row! She rode with her hands in the air, cheering and laughing! Almost the opposite of our eldest daughter, who was cautious at first until she did the same. It was after 9:00 PM, and I said, “Let’s head to the car; we still have a few hours until we get home,” and our youngest daughter started crying and didn’t want to leave! She was a bit of a thrill-seeker but also completely exhausted.
It was also really nice to spend time with other families, getting to know each other, and taking this tour with you through the fairytale forest with the wolves and the dragon 😂. Ultimately, this is what it’s all about—connecting, socializing, and having fun together.
Your events NEVER disappoint because they are done with love and will remain in our memories forever.
A huge THANK YOU!
