Never be ashamed of how you were born, no matter what anyone has to say. You are beautiful exactly as you are, and no one gets to decide your worth but you.

This summer, I plan to wear my swimsuits, rock my scars, and live my life unapologetically. If someone chooses to make rude comments, that says everything about their character and nothing about mine. I’ve heard that some people have made comments behind my back about photos I’ve shared of my anatomy. Things like, “How can her mom let her post that?”

Here’s the answer: I’m a grown woman who makes her own decisions. I love and respect my mom more than words can express, and I’m incredibly grateful for her support. But these choices are mine to make.

And the truth is, if you don’t like the photos I share, nobody is forcing you to look.

You have every right to your opinion.

And I have every right not to care.

To anyone reading this: never let someone else’s ignorance make you question your beauty. The most attractive thing about a person isn’t a perfect body—it’s a kind heart, a strong spirit, and the courage to be themselves.

Because at the end of the day, what good is being conventionally attractive and fitting the beauty standard if you’re ugly on the inside?

You were born worthy. You were born beautiful.

And you never need anyone else’s permission to believe it. ♡
