On Saturday, July 4, 2026, it will once again be time for our global Family Day at Efteling! In 2025, more than 100 people participated in our Family Day.
Our Family Days are intended for our members (and immediate family living at the same address) and volunteers.
Due to the costs involved, we ask for a small personal contribution of €5 per person for children aged 4–12 and €10 per person for those aged 13 and older.
Volunteers do not need to pay a personal contribution, nor do children under the age of 4. In addition, each volunteer may bring a maximum of one guest, for whom the personal contribution does apply.
Each registration is limited to a maximum of 3 adults (13 years and older) and 3 children (0–12 years).

You can park at the main parking area from 8:00 AM onwards.

As a group, we will be able to enter part of the park through the main entrance at 9:30 AM. We will then walk together towards Polles Keuken and Symbolica. Between Polles Keuken and Symbolica there is a gate that will open at 10:00 AM. From there, it is at most a 5-minute walk to ‘t Poffertje, where we will host our reception.
From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, an extensive lunch buffet will be available in the restaurant of the Efteling Hotel Saga. At the back of the playground Het Kleuterhof, you will find the catering location ‘t Speelkwartier, where we will gather. Here, we will receive a wristband that allows us to re-enter the park through the same gate after lunch.
Our Family Day offers something enjoyable for practically everyone! You will have many opportunities to meet other patients and families.
During the day, we will also try to organize additional social gathering moments, such as around 5:00 PM with snacks and ice cream.
For access via the special wheelchair entrance of attractions, the facilities card must be requested: Request .
Here you fill in your details, after which you print this card and bring it with you. You must present it at each attraction to gain access via the wheelchair entrance. Please note: not every attraction has a wheelchair entrance, such as Dreamflight.
This way, the cards contain all necessary information and every guest will always have the correct card. This card is available on the website in Dutch, English, German, and French, depending on the language you select.
We will create a WhatsApp group for this day so we can easily and quickly share information (such as photos and locations) and assist people if needed. During registration, you can indicate whether you would like to join this Family Day WhatsApp group. This group will only be used in the context of our Family Day.
This day is also intended to promote mutual contact and is only accessible to members who have paid their membership fees. In addition, our volunteers also have access to this day.
