As an organization, CMTC-OVM has been a member of the organization Global Skin for many years now.

All adults (18+) with congenital moles are invited to participate in this ground-breaking research being conducted by Global Skin (International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations, IADPO) in collaboration with researchers from Cardiff University (UK) and University Medical Centre Hamburg -Eppendorf (Germany).
The GRIDD survey will take place between June 5 and September 27. The main goal of the study is to collect answers from 10,000 dermatological patients from as many regions as possible and with as many different dermatological conditions as possible.
The GRIDD data will support local, national and international patient advocacy for more research with better treatments and healthcare policies, and ultimately, improve the lives of dermatology patients. For the first time, patients with a dermatological condition and various syndromes will contribute to a dataset that measures the real impact of such a condition. The dermatology community, including patients, patient organizations, healthcare professionals, researchers and industry, will be provided with verifiable patient-derived data and advocacy support tools, training and resources to collectively take action towards a better future for patients.

The research has the required ethics approval from Cardiff University. For this you will be referred to a form with your rights and additional information. You can find the form here.
You can participate until September 27, 2023.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
