Patient advocates play a very important role
World light day

Patient advocates play a very important role in our organization and are also our local representatives abroad. They are often the ones who have direct contact with patients, their families and caregivers.
These are all reasons why we set high standards for our patient advocates and provide them with knowledge, experience and resources in all kinds of ways.

A patient advocate in our organization not only receives training but can also receive (financial) resources to organize something locally, for example.

We work on a project basis with our patient advocates so that the activities are not only carried out effectively and efficiently (patient advocates usually work in their sparse spare time) but that they can also use a standard approach.

We use a standard action plan for each goal that a patient wishes to achieve.
