My name is Erik Kloosterman. I first came into contact with the CMTC community through the website. Our oldest son was born with several marks on his body, but in the maternity ward no one could tell us exactly what they were. The website, however, provided extensive information and personal stories, which immediately made us feel connected. It gave us perspective on what to expect for our son and how we could best support him.
I have always wanted to give something back to the organisation. For the past three years, I have served on the audit committee, and now I have been given the wonderful opportunity to contribute even more in the role of treasurer.
I am married to Irina and a proud father of Ruben (4) and Daan (1). The four of us live in Amersfoort. After studying Accountancy (BSc) and Finance (MSc), I am now working as a Corporate Business Controller at EQUANS.
