Job vacancies
Our organization is made up of active and motivated volunteers, and we regularly have vacancies.

Social media expert
Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Main tasks: developing a social media policy in consultation with the board and other specialists, advising the board on social media policy and developments, carrying out tasks related to social media (such as managing and updating social media channels like Facebook and Instagram) in consultation with the board, coordinating and liaising with a paid professional marketing specialist (who manages campaigns for Google AdGrants and campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)).
Knowledge and skills: strong command of the Dutch language (C1 level), English language (C1 level), both spoken and written; marketing and branding knowledge and experience; knowledge of and experience with Twitter/BlueSky, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and tools for creating automated posts across various social media channels.
General board member
Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Main tasks: actively contribute ideas and participate in decision-making regarding the organization’s policies, strategy, and activities. Represent the interests of patients and their families both within and outside the organization. Contribute to projects such as awareness and education, peer-to-peer meetings, conferences, and international collaboration. Monitor the implementation of policies and ensure compliance with the ANBI status, transparency, and integrity. Establish and maintain contacts with relevant organizations, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. Support efforts to enhance the visibility of CMTC-OVM (including through media, publications, and events).
Knowledge and skills: strong command of the Dutch language (C1 level), English language (C1 level), both spoken and written; knowledge of and experience with internationally operating non-profit organizations; strong networking skills.
Host/hostess
Level: Secondary vocational education (MBO) or Bachelor’s degree (HBO).
Main tasks: welcoming guests (people with a medical condition, families, and doctors) during our events and serving as the main point of contact throughout the event.
Knowledge and skills: strong command of the Dutch language (C1 level); good command of spoken and written English (C1 level). Proficiency in spoken German (B1 level) is an advantage.
