Complications

  • Which complications could be found in combination with CMTC?

    To begin with, it should be noted that it is extremely difficult to determine whether any given complication is related to CMTC.

    1. Overgrown legs and arms (in length and girth).
    2. Undergrown legs and arms (in length and girth).
    3. Intellectual disability.
    4. Asymmetric development on one side of the body.
    5. Syndromal symptoms.

    Up to which age could associated disorders appear?
    Abnormalities could in fact manifest themselves at any age. For example in the case of glaucoma which can result in blindness when this condition is not diagnosed over an extended period of time.
